As I get older it seems my toiletry bag, not to mention my face, seems to need another product. And as a constant traveller who likes to travel light having yet another item to carry around is a chore I'd rather avoid, but I may just make an exception in this case.
According to surgeon Ali Ghoz from the London Orthopedic Clinic, a tennis ball can make all the difference between a painful flight and a comfortable one.
The tennis ball can massage aching backs that have been locked in uncomfortable seats for way too long and ease the pressure in feet that have walked more than they're used to carrying more weight than is comfortable, Ghoz told the Daily Star.
All you have to do is place the ball between your back and your seat and relax into the pressure easing the knots that have developed from your travels.
Rolling the ball underfoot will not only feel great, it'll get your circulation moving.
Ghoz also advised that passengers should stay hydrated and exercise while in the air - which, with a tennis ball onboard should be a breeze. Inflight game of football anyone? Handball in the galley?
Tennis balls will certainly come in handy should you be stuck waiting at an airport for a prolonged period. Who doesn't love a game of Brandings/Dodgeball?
