Three prominent Australian LGBTQIA+ content creators – Jack Cooper, Latisha Clark and Conor Curran – will work to amplify Great Britain’s modern and inclusive spirit as part of a joint promotional push by VisitBritain and Contiki.

As part of the new marketing partnership, the trio will embark on Contiki’s nine-day England and Scotland itinerary, posting about their trip via their individual social channels in line with the tour operator’s #ConvinceMe video series.

Setting off from London, highlights of the trip will include a cruise on Lake Windermere in the Lake District, a whisky tasting experience in Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands.

“England is incredibly forward when it comes to queer culture, particularly in cities, so wear glitter and dress fabulous, because no one blinks an eye and it’s amazing,” Curran said.

VisitBritain Country Manager, Maria Sykes, said she was excited to partner with Contiki to inspire LGBTQIA+ travellers to see things differently in the UK.

“The UK is a nation that is awash with irrepressible pride, a place where inclusivity, diversity and freedom is at the very heart of its DNA,” Sykes said.

“Sydney WorldPride is just the start of the party and in 2023 we invite all travellers to experience first-hand the welcoming British spirit and join us in celebrating equality and diversity throughout the year in Britain.”
