Register for special Japan info session

Japan will finally open to Australia and New Zealand tourist groups on Friday 10 June, ending a ban that was introduced nearly three years ago, as part of the country’s virus control program. This important milestone on Friday represents one of the final, and one of the most eagerly anticipated reopening’s for international travel.

Following eighteen months of close consultation and working hand in hand with the Japanese Government and Japan National Tourism Office, in preparation for the reopening, Wendy Wu Tours, who carry the largest number of tourist groups to Japan from Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, will be one of the first companies with tour groups allowed back into Japan from this Friday.

As it stands, entry to Japan for international tourists from this Friday, will only be allowed on escorted tour groups, following a prearranged and set itinerary. Pre-departure testing is required and must be within 72 hours from the sample collection date to the flight departure time, however, regardless of vaccination status, on arrival tests, quarantine, and other measures are not required.

To celebrate ‘Japan Reopening Day’, Wendy Wu Tours are offering PARTNER FLIES FREE TO JAPAN and HALF PRICE FLIGHT SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS, on selected tours and departures in 2022 and 2023, saving up to $1,450 per person when booked by 30 June 2022.

Wendy Wu Tours is also  hosting a dedicated live online event for agents.

The Zoom event will be held at 4pm AEST on Thursday June 16th.

It will include the latest updates on travelling to Japan as well as a special Q&A session with founder Wendy Wu, who is currently in Sydney.
