WIN 1 of 6 prizes with Kanazawa and Nagano

Kanazawa and Nagano City unite to provide new travel agent resources

Often considered two of Japan’s most culturally significant and authentically traditional cities, the twin cities of Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture, and Nagano in Nagano Prefecture have joined forces to help Australian and New Zealand travel agents, and their customers, prepare for their return to Japan in the months ahead.

With both cities within easy reach of major gateway cities including Tokyo and Osaka, along with popular ski regions such as Hakuba, both Nagano City and Kanazawa City offer the opportunity for Australian and New Zealand travellers to enjoy tasty cuisine, explore breathtaking natural landscapes, and immerse themselves in Japanese traditions – without the crowds of some of Japan’s more populous cities.

Now, both Nagano City and Kanazawa City have joined forces to release a slew of new tools and incentives to help Australian and New Zealand travel agents prepare for the demand anticipated once the COVID pandemic ends. And the best news is – there’s prizes up for grabs.

NEW WEBSITES:

The first port of call for agents are the all-new Kanazawa City and Nagano City travel agent websites.

Both sites feature loads of information on both cities key attractions including the spiritual heart of Nagano City – Zenkoji Temple, and the stunning Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa.

Agents will also find downloadable city maps, recommended short-stay and multi-city itineraries, and so much more.

DESTINATION GUIDE:

Another key feature of the new website is the locally produced “Explore Authentic Japan – Kanazawa and Nagano” destination guide. This 6-page downloadable destination guide is the perfect tool to help inspire your clients to visit both cities.

Featuring listicle style content including the top 5 attractions, places to stay, foods to try and loads of insider tips from locals themselves, this incredible resource has no prices, so it is easy to share with your clients. And best of all, you can add your own agency details, so your clients know who to book through when the time comes.

WEBINARS:

Now that you have the tools for your clients, it’s time to focus on your own knowledge, and with two new webinars to help agents upskill on both destinations, you can do just that.

Each webinar is approximately 15 minutes in length and takes you on a speedy, yet informative journey through both cities.  Learn more about some of the cultural and craft classes you can partake in once borders re-open including Gold-leafing, soba noodle making and more.

INCENTIVE:

If all that wasn’t enough, between now and March 10, 2021, Nagano City, Kanazawa City and their Australian and New Zealand representation partners – Linkd Tourism – are giving you the chance to win big, just for watching the webinars.

All agents need to do to enter is watch both destination webinars and complete a short questionnaire. Six lucky winners will be awarded a sensational prize valued at $100 AUD or NZD (depending on where they are based).

To enter, agents should click here, or visit either of the Kanazawa or Nagano website listed above.  But hurry - the incentive ends March 10.
