Win a trip to the Philippines at Tourism Philippines Roadshow

The Philippine Department of Tourism is pleased to announce the dates and venues of its 2017 roadshow, with events planned for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Auckland on the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th August 2017, respectively.

The tourist board expects to host over 500 agents during the annual roadshow, where guests will learn all about selling this fantastic destination which is set across more than 7,500 islands.  Agents attending the roadshows will also have the opportunity to win free trips to the Philippines’ islands of Palawan, Boracay and Cebu, which are often listed as ‘the best islands in the world’!

Norjamin Delos Reyes, Tourism Attaché at Philippine Department of Tourism Australia & New Zealand said,

“Our roadshow is always very popular with agents in Australia and New Zealand.  We offer agents invaluable information and useful tips on selling this amazing holiday destination, including comprehensive information on our accommodation options, award winning beaches, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, popular activities, world renowned dive and surfing spots and local Filipino cuisine.  This year’s events will see agents compete in a ‘trivia night’ themed competition for the chance to win a wonderful trip to the Philippines.”

The events in Australia and New Zealand will take place as follows:

·         8th August 2017 - Doltone House, Sydney

·         9th August 2017 – The Langham, Melbourne

·         10th August 2017 - Hilton, Brisbane

·         11th August 2017 – The Langham, Auckland

“The events page where agents can confirm their attendance will be live very soon however, in the meantime, we encourage all agents to ‘save the date’!  Australia is the fifth largest visitor-generating market for the Philippines, contributing 251,098 visitor arrivals for 2016.  We are committed to continuing to educate agents in the Australian and New Zealand markets on what makes the Philippines such an ideal destination for any traveller,” added Norjamin Delos Reyes.
