The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has today announced the rollout of a new initiative comprising a series of educational opportunities for Members in collaboration with CATO Platinum Partner, 4Walls Cyber Advisory in response to the escalating challenges of digital security within the travel industry.

In an era where online transactions and data sharing have become the norm, CATO acknowledges the increased vulnerability of the travel sector to identity theft and the critical need for enhanced cybersecurity measures.

CATO’s Managing Director, Brett Jardine, expressed the organisation’s commitment to this cause: “We are delighted to provide our members with a comprehensive educational opportunity that addresses the unique cybersecurity risks prevalent in the travel industry.”

This educational initiative will commence with an engaging webinar exclusive to CATO members, titled “Digital Security for the Travel Industry: Preventing Identity Theft,” scheduled for Tuesday, 5th March at 10:30 am AEDT.

This engaging webinar will provide tourism businesses with essential strategies to fortify their digital defences against identity theft. Led by the expert team at 4Walls Cybersecurity, attendees will gain valuable insights into:
