Robyn and Murray Sinfield of  Home Travel Company

NEW BRANDS WELCOMED INTO LTC

SOME OF Australia’s leading agencies have been hand selected to join the Luxury Travel Collection (LTC).

Emma Whiting Travel & Cruise joined LTC on February 1, together with Robyn and Murray Sinfield’s Home Travel Company.

“The Luxury Travel Collection is the leading global house of luxury travel brands,” said Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of the Luxury Travel Collection.

“Our hand selected members have established their stellar professional reputations by elevating travel to the very highest standards, with discerning clients at the centre of their business strategy.”

Robyn, Murray and Emma join a community of luxury independent members including Carole and Phil Smethurst of Bicton Travel and Claremont Travel & Cruise; Stuart Ingram and Destination HQ; Stephen Green of Travel Experts and Hilary and Holly Weir of Dream Maker Travel.

Emma says her specialty is the combination of exceptional travel expertise she offers clients.

“Yes, you can research your holidays, book travel online or with others, but what you cannot get elsewhere is our team.

“Our combined knowledge, our firsthand experiences, our industry experience, our care, passion and service offerings are ours. The synergy of our team, the input from many into our client’s trips makes them all unique and that’s what I love.”

Robyn and Murray began their travel careers in 1984, investing in a local travel institution that started in 1958 with one owner.

“Little did we know that the local industry leaders took bets on how long we’d survive before we went broke,” says Robyn.

“We were the first people to take over a business in Tasmania without a travel background,” adds Murray.

“We continue to be awarded by our industry and we are proud to lead a team of dedicated independent advisors who share our passion for offering the best customer service possible.”

this saffire is a real jewel

ONE OF Australia’s leading luxury lodges is offering 25 per cent savings on all stays of three nights or more.

Saffire Freycinet in Tasmania is running the promotion for visits between April 1 and September 30.

Guests can experience the distinctive charm of Tasmania’s east coast during a time where migrating whales frequently visit. The Freycinet region also offers fine local food and drinks, and rejuvenating spa treatments.

Seals basking during the Waubs Harbour Whisky experience – home to Tasmania’s maritime single malt whisky – at the nearby coastal town of Bicheno are another seasonal delight.

Executive Chef Paddy Prenter serves up fresh, sustainably produced seafood with oysters coming from nearby Dolphin Sands, rock lobster from the lodge’s surrounding waters and octopus from Stanley in the state’s north.

The Robbins Island wagyu beef is exceptional, along with aged lamb loin and farmed venison from Springfield Farm.

“There’s so much to discover here at Saffire on the beautiful Freycinet coast, from fine local wines with the winemakers, to walking adventures or savouring oysters shucked fresh from the lease,” said Patrick Barrie, Saffire Freycinet General Manager.

All-inclusive rates on the 25% savings ‘Cool Season’ offer start at $2,250 per night for two guests.
