A NEW, ultra-bespoke resort concept has just been unveiled on the remotest atoll in the Maldives.

Thirty years in the making, Soneva Secret 2024 will welcome its first guests on January 10, 2024. The resort is on Haa Dhaalu Atoll and promises to offer an exceptional level of intuitive, personalised service.

Soneva Secret 2024 features just 14 beach and overwater villas, including lagoon Crusoe Villas, accessible only by boat, and the Castaway, the Maldives’ first floating villa.

Each is designed in perfect harmony with the untouched natural setting, with direct access to the white sand beach or lagoon.

As well as master suites, including a roof that slides to reveal star-strewn skies, every villa also features adjoining bedrooms, offering ample space for families or additional guests.

There’s a dedicated ‘Barefoot Guardian’ and ‘Barefoot Assistant’ for every villa while 14 private chefs craft bespoke menus to create unique culinary journeys.

Other dining experiences will include Out of This World, a castaway dining tower, observatory and wine cellar in the lagoon, reachable by zipline.

Guests can also enjoy a toes-in-the-sand firepit dining experience at So Primitive and The Living Room, the island hub and casual dining and lounge venue, which is also home to a library, boutique and Soneva’s renowned ice cream, chocolate and cheese and charcuterie rooms.

The crystal-clear waters are home to colonies of manta rays, pods of dolphins and whale sharks, alongside shoals of tropical fish.

Activities include picnics on castaway shores, sunset dolphin cruises, guided snorkelling with the experienced marine biologist, or navigating the night skies with clear views of the Milky Way with the resident Astronomer.

ONE OF the world’s most exquisite five-star luxury properties is offering savings on bookings of five nights or more.

Taveuni Palms recently added to its plethora of awards, winning ‘Oceania’s Leading Boutique Resort’ and ‘Fiji’s Leading Resort’ at the 2023 World Travel Awards.

Situated on Taveuni Island, the property offers complete privacy and is the perfect honeymoon, wedding or holiday destination with two villas, each with seven staff ready to cater for guests.

The Beach Villa and Horizon Spa Villa each have their own private beachfront with panoramic views of the South Pacific and feature a pool, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The Horizon Spa Villa also has a hot tub and an additional one bedroom and one bathroom in a separate bure.

The villas and bure are air-conditioned and come complete with luxurious furnishings and comforts including super King beds, Nespresso coffee machine, hammock, bathrobes, Pure Fiji toiletries, outdoor honeymoon showers, full entertainment centre and a library of DVD’s, books and games.

Each villa has its own personal chef taking guests on a culinary journey through the South Pacific. Every dining experience is different with dinner menus specifically designed around guest’s likes and dislikes, and with each villa offering five special and private dining locations.

The resort is currently offering a 30 per cent off deal until October 31, valid for travel until February 29, 2024.
