A NEW hotel is promising to bring a new level of style to the accommodation landscape of a popular Aussie city, without compromising on its relaxed coastal lifestyle.

The 150-room Hotel TOTTO has just opened its doors in the heart of Wollongong in New South Wales. It features self-serve check-in kiosks, 24-hour reception and on-site parking.

Located on the ground floor, the Mediterranean inspired Basta Trattoria has also opened serving the finest local produce including wood-fired pizzas.

“Holding appeal for both leisure and business travellers, the hotel has been tailored to suit travellers who value quality and modern and contemporary interiors, incredible guest experiences, great dining all complemented by our integrated technology,” said Norman Arundel, EVT’s Director of Hotel and Resorts Operations.

The property is the 76th to open in the EVT Hotels and Resorts portfolio. There’s an opening special currently running from $179 per night in a standard room.

A HOUSE AWAY FROM HOME

A NEWLY built five-bedroom getaway is offering new levels of indulgence for a well-deserved short break.

Burrawang House in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales is an architecturally designed, modern country weather-board home ideal for groups. It can accommodate up to 14 friends or family members.

Features include a large 18th century Belgian mantle fireplace in the living room, games room, eight-person spa and quality linens.

The house also has pergolas with recycled wood, art collected over decades, antique furniture, bespoke joinery and Armadillo rugs.

Set over half a hectare and bathed in north facing sun, the country home is just a short stroll to the Burrawang Village Hotel pub and Burrawang Village General Store Café.

“This is where cows graze (across the road), the air is crisp and clean, and nights are quietly star-filled,” said Gabrielle Brewer, co-owner of Burrawang House.

A NEW hotel offering maximum appeal for both corporate and leisure travellers has just opened its doors.

The Ascott Limited’s Quest Watergardens officially opened on April 17 as the latest addition to the Watergardens precinct in north-west Melbourne.
