The wait is over! Rail Europe’s much-anticipated e-brochure featuring a collection of inspiring four, seven and 15-day sample itineraries covering single and multiple countries across Europe has finally been released!

Specially created as yet another useful resource for travel advisors to refer to when assisting clients with their European rail holidays, the itineraries were curated around the popular the themes of history, art and culture; gastronomy; scenery and the outdoors, as well as quintessentially European experiences (a mix of quaint, quirky and medieval interests). Destinations featured include UK + Ireland; France + Monaco; Spain + Portugal; Switzerland; Italy; Austria; Germany + Benelux; Scandinavia; Greece + the Greek islands; Central Europe; and pan European.

The e-brochure can be viewed and downloaded here or via Rail Europe’s closed FB page, where advisors will need to join to access and download the brochure. Commenting on the launch, GM of APAC, Rich Leonard said, “In response to the many travel advisors seeking fresh inspiration to help their clients, we hope this comprehensive e-brochure will provide them with a solid base from which they can further develop, tailor and refine their itineraries.”

Offering a balanced mix of popular destinations and lesser-known gems oozing charm and fewer crowds, the sample itineraries aim to inspire further exploration beyond major cities. Advisors should also note that while passes such as the Eurail Pass and Swiss Travel Pass offer incredible flexibility, point-to-point tickets can sometimes work out more cost effective especially on shorter stays or where travellers only want to visit a few selected places.

The e-brochure is the third and final part of a wider campaign that began with the roll out of Rail Europe’s digital map in February and the current ‘Dream Journey’ competition ending Sunday 16 June. Advisors are reminded that this is the final week to submit their entries for a chance to live out their European dream train journey in the very near future. Entries can be sent to [email protected] or submitted via the closed FB page.

Offering the routes and services of more than 200 rail providers in 70 countries on the platform, Rail Europe continues to invest heavily in advanced technology and useful tools to not only promote the various carriers, routes and destinations, but also equip users and partners with valuable information and inspiration.
