DOMA has officially announced the upcoming opening of its latest hotel, Little National Newcastle. The renowned Canberra property group will be bringing their innovative hotel concept to Newcastle’s emerging commercial precinct this April.

Conveniently placed on Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle’s waterfront entertainment area, the hotel is located just a short 5 minute drive to popular restaurant destination, Darby Street and a 4 minute walk to the Transport Interchange.

The accessible location encourages guests to explore and enjoy the city’s best as Newcastle continues to grow as a destination of choice.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing a Little National Hotel to Newcastle. With the substantial development of the Honeysuckle Precinct over recent years, we saw this as a great opportunity to provide guests the ability to explore Newcastle’s newest entertainment area” says DOMA Managing Director, Jure Domazet.

“Our approach has always been to provide guests with a convenient, modern contemporary hotel experience, without the cost of 5-star accommodation.”

Establishing itself as the third property within the Little National brand and seventh in the DOMA hotel portfolio, the concept is focused on providing affordable luxury, offering a five-star experience through their ethos of everything you need and nothing you don’t.

DOMA has continued to collaborate with esteemed architect Bates Smart and interior designer Luchetti Krelle to ensure the signature concept is reflected throughout their newest property.

Similarly to Sydney and Canberra, Newcastle presents a refined and sophisticated, modern Australian style, providing a comfortable and serene environment for guests.

Amongst the 181 rooms, the hotel will feature a 24-hour wellness centre with advanced Technogym equipment. Guests will have direct access to the lounge bar and library providing options of both comfortable private working spaces and inviting communal areas for work or leisure.

The hotel is placed on 44 Honeysuckle Drive, a perfectly located vantage point as the city moves its central business function towards the completed transport exchange.

Little National Newcastle is committed to providing more than just a room for the night; an unforgettable experience where guests are encouraged to ‘live a little’.
